Andrack Halan was a Consecuan cleric of St. Cuthbert turned vengeful undead hunter. Andrack was born in the village of Gross Fell. Raised by two devout worshipers of St. Cuthbert, Andrack started his clerical training at a young age. However, near the end of his training, Gross Fell was attacked and ravaged by an undead army, controlled by Kyracolides, a blue dragon who preyed the local area. Although the undead were defeated and Kyracolides driven off, it came at a great cost - more than a hundred people were killed in the attack, including Andrack's parents. Andrack swore vengeance, and turning to his god, knew this to be the right path. He left Gross Fell and began hunting vampires and other undead, honing his skills and experience.
In 8 BD, Andrack answered a summons by the Mayor of Poisson. This led him into a direct confrontation with Tertius Orekov, a powerful vampire, along with a sourjourn to the Isle of the Dead, in which Andrack and his allies fought and killed the lich Aeru. Back on the mainland, Andrack and company clashed with Tertius' two brothers, Mixail and Vasilij. Although the two vampires escaped, Aeru's phylectary they were guarding was destroyed, ending the lich's threat forever. Andrack and his allies collected their reward, and with it bought the ship that had they had charted to take them to the Isle of the Dead, rechristening it the Bane Cutlass. Leaving Poisson behind, they began the long hunt for Mixail and Vasilij.
