This is like disambiguation, but not. If one possibility is significantly more likely than another, you may as well redirect straight to the more likely one. When you do, you should put this at the top to make clear there are other existing articles they may have meant.
If there is only one other possibility, link straight to that. For example, on Adrað-Fejon there is the line:
{{for|the Consecuan goddess|Adrað (goddess)}}
which expands to:
The second parameter can be skipped, as in {{for|Article name}}:
If there are more than two possibilities, the for should redirect to a disambiguation page. Template:Other does this.
